At VectorBuilder, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our growing team. We are seeking a driven Scientific Technical Writer to participate in the development of world-class services and products to expand our portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on writing manuscripts.
• Provide research and writing support to assigned scientific manuscripts, scientific reports, and ad hoc written materials as requested by stakeholders and leadership.
• Creation of documentation deliverables, including but not limited to requirements specifications, design documents, test plans/procedures/reports, scientific and technical reports, technical data packages, user manuals, operations manuals, training materials, project briefings, and management plans.
• Responsible for the compilation, review, and editing of technical documentation.
• Researches and gathers information, analyzes data from studies or experiments, and then communicates this information through articles, reports, or other forms of written content.
• Supports data analysis and writing for scientific publications.
• Conducts literature reviews to understand the state of existing research
• Eligible for first or co first authors on contributions.
• Collaborates with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
• Translate complex scientific data from Chinese to English.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.
• Related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• PhD (preferred) in the field of molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or closely related research area, or Master’s degree with extensive research experience in biology.
• Minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience in biotechnology or life sciences.
• Drive and passion for translational research in biotech.
• Exceptional scientific writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Must be bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Ability for relocation to Guangzhou.
