Located in several cellular components, including cell cortex; cytosol; and neuronal cell body. Is expressed in several structures, including anterior endoderm; embryonic/larval neuromuscular junction; extended germ band embryo; gut section; and ovary. Used to study Parkinson\'s disease; alcohol use disorder; and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including breast cancer (multiple); colorectal cancer (multiple); high grade glioma (multiple); pancreatic cancer (multiple); and reproductive organ cancer (multiple).
